May I introduce…
My name is Gerlinde Krachler, I live with my husband Herbert,

our Thai-Siam-cats Mr. Spock, Sphinx & Sandokan

and our Beardie girls Kassie & Jula

in a Bungalow in Schönau, Lower Austria.

Since 1996 our first Bearded Collie “Kassie” came to us, we are completely in love with this pleasant and intelligent breed.

On our homepage we want to show, that we do not have only cute, bonny dogs, but dogs who are willing to work! And it gives a lot of pleasure to work with them!
There are so many different kinds of dog sports and I hope to spark interest to one or the other Beardie owner.

...the Beardie is a „handyman“ – and they love to work side by side with their people! It gives a great pleasure to work with them, because they learn very fast and with love, understanding and consequence you succeed very fast! And tell me – what is more desirable than to reach a goal together with your beloved dog?

On the following pages we want to picture Bearded Collies, who have already successful passed working examinations.

We hope that we can on this way inspire one or the other Beardie owner do try some sports! If you have any questions for example in training, please do not hesitate to contact us! We will do our utmost to support you with tips and tricks!

If you are reading this and think – hey, my Beardie is also doing some sport – so please send me the photos, a copy of the activity confirmation, your name and more important of course the name of your dog – we want to publish all “Working Beardie’s” from at home and abroad!

If you are still training, but have not done any examinations by now, it does not matter, please send also the photos! We will apply the notation “in training” and we will publish your dog already!

Please send us a photo of the head and an "active" one.
